About me

Me on the AATThis is me doing my best ‘science is cool’ pose at Siding Spring Observatory in northern New South Wales.

By day I currently develop new instrumentation for astronomy at the University of Oxford. Before this I was an engineer at the Australian Astronomical Observatory (AAO) in Sydney, where, among other things, I built tiny robots. I’m doing similar stuff now.

My residential history probably defines me as an early-stage Ping-pong Pom.

I’m also a keen photographer, drummer and homebrewer.
