About me

Me on the AAT

This is me doing my best ‘science is cool’ pose at Siding Spring Observatory in northern New South Wales, Australia.

By day I develop new technology for astronomy and space at the Australian National University in Canberra, including instruments to find Earth-like planets around stars like our sun.  Before this I was an engineer at the Australian Astronomical Observatory in Sydney, where I built tiny robots to do automated astronomy.

My residential history probably defines me as an early-stage Ping-pong Pom.

I’m also a keen photographer, drummer and homebrewer.
